Professional Experience in Education
2026–present — Deputy Quality Supervisor for Secondary Education in Pieria, deputising for the Quality Supervisor when the latter is absent, unable to perform their duties, or when the post is vacant.
2023–present — Education Advisor for Informatics, based at the Directorate of Secondary Education of Pieria, Greece. His area of responsibility extends to the Directorates of Secondary and Primary Education of Pieria, as well as to part of the corresponding Directorates of Eastern Thessaloniki.
2001–present — Permanent teacher qualified in both Mathematics and Informatics in the Greek public education system. Since 2021, he has held a permanent post at the Music School of Katerini.
1998–2005 — Teacher, instructor and trainer in Informatics at public and private vocational training institutes and private educational centres.
1999–2000 — Instructor of Informatics at Mediterranean-ECS, in Higher National Diploma programmes in Computing – Business Information Technology and Information Technology.

2024 — Invited speaker, 14th Panhellenic Conference of the Panhellenic Association of Bioscientists. Talk on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Education.
2024 — Public lecture, entitled Facing Artificial Intelligence, delivered in Katerini as part of the Theopromitoria 2024 events.
2024 — Speaker at the 5th Youth Event, entitled Facing Artificial Intelligence, co-organized by the Youth Office of the Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerini and Platamon and the Directorate of Secondary Education of Pieria. Presented practical, pedagogical, and ethical issues relating to Artificial Intelligence, with particular emphasis on Machine Learning and the creation of images and videos using Artificial Intelligence tools.
2024 — Speaker at an online professional-development event, Artificial Intelligence and Education, co-organized by the Directorates of Primary and Secondary Education of Pieria for teachers of all subject areas. Presented Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Education.
Teacher Professional Development
2023–present — Teacher professional development activities, focusing on the pedagogical use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Education in school units of Pieria and Eastern Thessaloniki.
2025 — Organizer and co-instructor of an experiential, workshop-based professional-development seminar, entitled Pedagogical Use of Artificial Intelligence in Secondary Education, for teachers of all disciplines and subject areas in the schools of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Pieria. The ten-hour seminar was delivered through blended learning and the flipped-classroom model. It included synchronous online sessions, face-to-face laboratory-based training, and the design of a teaching scenario as a final deliverable. The seminar was successfully completed by 28 teachers.
Scientific and Organizing Committees
2023–2026 — Student Conferences on Informatics, member of the central organizing and scientific committees of the 15th–18th Student Conferences on Informatics, with responsibilities including the coordination of school units and the review of submissions for Pieria and Eastern Thessaloniki.
